9.30am Children’s Events

There are 3 children’s races. All entries for the children’s race are £3 on the day.

Race 1       (4-6 year olds) distance approx 300 metres

Race 2      (7-10 year olds) distance approx 600 metres

Race 3      (11-14 year olds) Brand new The Aldridge Spiral Mile. Distance approx 1 mile

All children’s races are off road, flat and on grass. All finishers in the children’s races will receive a medal & 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd winners of each race will receive a trophy.

10.15am  Start of the 4.3km Fun Run

10.30am  Start of the 10km Road Race (minimum age 15 years)

12.30am  Prize Presentation – will take place on the finishing field

Please note:  15 minutes prior to the start of the 10km, runners will be called to assemble in Portland Road. Assembly point is The Green opposite the Church.  Please do not assemble on the start line until called by the race marshals, who will then escort you to the start line. We request that runners should not run with headsets or any form of ear phones.
