2019-20 & 2020-21

All races ceased in February 2020 because of the COVID lockdown and although limited racing returned in the summer of 2020 it was not possible to hold presentation evenings in either 2020 or 2021.  Club competition was largely limited to a virtual handicap run by Mark O'Rourke.

Historical records of trophy winners can be found here.

No awards were made in 2020 but some limited presentations were made in 2021, in somewhat different surroundings from the normal, and these are shown below:

Paul Sebastian Cup

This trophy is presented annually to ‘the member of the year’, the person who fellow members feel  has contributed the most to the club in the previous year, continuing the traditions upon which the club was founded.   The recipient is nominated by club members and voted for at the club’s AGM.

Grand Prix

The Grand Prix is a set of races where club members can gain points according to their position within the club.  With the very limited opportunities for racing in both 2020 and 2021 the Grand Prix was suspended and no awards made for either year.

Aldridge 10k

The Aldridge 10k races were cancelled for both 2020 and 2021.  Club members competed virtually in 2020 as part of the virtual handicap sessions.
No awards were made for either year.

Club handicap

Two series of virtual handicap races were organised by Mark O'Rourke, for the Spring/Summer of 2020 and the Winter of 2020-21.  No overall awards were made but medals were given to all participants.
The results of these races can be found here (Spring/Summer) and here (Winter).
