Presentation Evening 2024

The annual presentation evening is held in the Autumn.  In 2024 it was held on Saturday November 2, at Aston Wood Golf Club.  Official photos from this event, with thanks to Nic Baker and Jo Yarnall can be found here.

Historical records of trophy winners can be found here.

Trophy winners for
2023-24 are shown below:

Paul Sebastian Cup and Claire Heaven Trophy

'Members of the Year' are chosen by a vote of the members at the Annual General Meeting.  Starting in 2022 the Paul Sebastian Cup has been awarded to the male winner and the Claire Heaven trophy to the female winner.

2023-24 winners: Paul Sebastian Cup: George Brizell and Claire Heaven Trophy: Lynda Elmore.

George's nomination stated: "
George Helps at many parkruns with marshalling, and on many occasions has even been Race Director. He is also very supportive at the club, notably organising promotional parkrun takeovers for the Aldridge 10k. At his young age he is very inspiring".

Lynda's nomination stated: "Who can forget watching Lynda finishing the Manchester Marathon? Seeing that pure determination to finish was inspiring to us all at ARC and to so many worldwide. Her exploits have been seen by over 9 million people. We then saw her on BBC News being interviewed in her ARC top. We were all so proud. Lynda is also the most supportive back of the pack person. Lynda has promoted that is is ok to be a slower runner and helps others in a similar situation not to be afraid to enter races. She represents all abilities and all levers at ARC. Lynda has also been this year’s ARC 10K Race Director. This takes an awful amount of time to organise".
