Over the years, ARC members have raised thousands of pounds for different charities, often but not exclusively in connection with the London Marathon. Chester Marathon, October 3rd 2021
Luke White ran the Virtual London Marathon in conjunction with the Chester Marathon. Before the event Luke said: "After running various 10K’s & half marathons, I am now running my first ever official marathon which is the: Chester Marathon on October 3rd, 2021! In aid of many young individuals suffering from many various mental health issues, I’m going to be raising money for ‘Young Minds’ mental health charity. They are a mental health charity who help many young people with ongoing mental health issues and are an all-round excellent charity! I appreciate any donation big or small, thank you!"

Lorraine Beesley also ran London Virtual combined with Chester Marathon on the 3 October.She has a few events/ activities in the pipeline for the month of October. She is raising money for Bowel Cancer UK.
Lorraine achieved a PB and with it a new Club FV55 Marathon Record of 03:36:51, massively within the London GFA qualifying time of 04:05, so we'll almost certainly see her in London 2022.

Tom Neal - running Great North Run, Cathedral to Castle & Lichfield Half, September/October 2021
Tom Neal ran these three races in aid of The Lincolnshire And Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance Charitable Trust.

Victoria Bird, fundraising for British Lung Foundation
Victoria Bird has deferred her London Marathon 2021 place until 2023 and will be fundraising for the British Lung Foundation from August 2021 for this event.
