ARC giving back

ARC is proud of its contribution to the local community.
The people of Aldridge kindly give way to us on their roads and pavements to help us run safely on club nights and on race day.

Volunteering at community events is a simple way for us to say ‘thank you’.

We also aim to support local running events – without volunteers these events could not take place and we would not be able to participate as runners. Each week we will see a number of club members' names on the list of parkrun volunteers and we have several Run Directors in the club.

And of course, the main event – Aldridge Running Festival!  Members’ support is crucial for this event, we cannot have too many volunteers across the children's, 5km and 10km events, as well as in the weeks before to help prepare and promote. The event has a great reputation and we want to make it bigger and better each year!
Letter of thanks from MP
