PAST AWARD WINNERS - Ron Reynolds Trophy

The Ron Reynolds trophy was introduced in 2025, as a replacement for the John Floyd Cup

Ron was deeply involved with the club for many years. He ran with us, supported us, and later became our well-known and much-appreciated club photographer. The committee felt it was only fitting that this award should now serve as a lasting reminder of Ron’s time, his spirit, and his dedication to the club.

The trophy is awarded each year to a club member who the committee feels has shown outstanding commitment to the club over the past twelve months. This could be through their running achievements or their contribution to the club.

This award is special because it recognises the dedication and effort of our members who go above and beyond - assisting in the running of the club or actively taking part in its activities. Importantly, the recipient cannot be a committee member, as this cup is intended to honour the wider membership and their invaluable contributions.

Recipients:

2025: Carl Nicholls
