Presentation Evening 2015

Paul Sebastian CupThis trophy is presented annually to ‘the member of the year’, a person who fellow members feel has excelled in either promoting the running club, or has continued the traditions upon which the club was founded. The recipient is nominated by club members and voted for at the club’s AGM.

Best of the Vest
Each year we hold a competition for the best photograph of an ARC vest (or vests) in an unusual situation/location.
The 2014/15 award went to Carol Watson.

John Floyd Cup
This person is chosen by the Committee for their hard work and achievements for the club and has been presented to a male member from 2011.

Aldridge 10k
Every year, club members act as stewards and officials for the Aldridge 10k, then we hold our own competition around the 10k route the following Tuesday evening. 2014/15 winners were Toby Oury and Helen Phillips, with Paul Burke and Louise Booker in second place, followed by Mark Shaw and Pauline Smith in third.

These awards are made by the club committee, in recognition of noteworthy achievements. 2014/15 winners were: Alison Deeley, Claire Pugh and Pat Brazier

Club handicap
Ron Reynolds revived the club handicap races, which were run monthly from April until September. Individual race winners for 2014/15 were: Anna Davies, Anne Kelsall, Jane Quinn, Les Reeves and Nigel Bullock
